Im Jahr 1997 ist ein weiteres Konzept für MINI entwickelt worden. Der MINI Spiritual und MINI Spiritual Too. Entstanden ist dieses Modell, in man dem echten MINI von 1959 nacheifern wollte und das Maximum an Innerraum heraus holte und gleichzeitig das Minimum an Aussenmassen behält. Ein kleines Platzwunder. Der MINI Spiritual Too hatte fünf Türen.
